Product designer based in San Jose, California.
Originally from Beijing, I moved to the U.S. in 2021 and began my UIUX design journey from the ground up. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Science with a focus on Engineering Management from Vanderbilt University (Class of 2016). After graduating, I returned to Beijing and worked as a project manager at CASICloud, a smart manufacturing and cloud service company.
Since transitioning into design, I’ve worked on web and app projects focused on real user needs, leading the process from user research and storytelling to wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and iteration.
The deeper I got into UX, the more obsessed I became with the possibilities of AR/VR. I started exploring it through hands-on projects, and every time I see a futuristic, immersive design, I just want to jump in and figure out how it was made.
These days, I continue creating thoughtful digital experiences while expanding into AR/VR, designing interactions that blend imagination with usability. I’m excited to bring what I’ve learned in UX into these emerging technologies and create experiences that are both innovative and human-centered. That curiosity and excitement are what keep me going every day.
Outside of UI/UX, I stay creative through 3D modeling and exploring how AI can unlock new possibilities in design. It keeps my thinking fresh and sparks unexpected ideas.

I'm not afraid to try new design trends, even if I have to start from zero. I embrace the learning curves, the failures, and the discomfort because that’s where real breakthroughs begin. When I moved from 2D to 3D design, I started with nothing and ended up gaining a whole new perspective.

People experience things differently, so I try to put my own bias aside and take time to understand other perspectives with empathy. I believe that truly useful design comes from combining what I know with active listening so I can solve real problems that matter to people.
